The Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) has released the official notification (Advt. No. 03/2026) for the recruitment of Assistant District Public Prosecution Officers (ADPO) for the Home Department. Candidates can apply online through the official MPPSC website.

🎓 Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

  • Essential: A Law Degree (LLB) or equivalent from a recognized university.

 

  • Preference: Candidates with a First Class degree, 2 years of Bar experience, or higher legal qualifications will receive preference in case of a tie.

Age Limit (As of January 1, 2027)

  • Minimum Age: 21 Years.

 

  • Maximum Age: 40 Years (for General/Unreserved).

 

  • Relaxation: Up to 5 years relaxation is provided for SC, ST, OBC, Women, and Government employees, up to a maximum age of 45.

Application & Late Fees

​Standard Fees

​SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/PwD (MP Domicile): ₹250/-  

​UR & Candidates Outside MP: ₹500/-  

​Note: All applicants must pay an additional portal fee of ₹40/

Late Application Provisions

​If you miss the initial deadline, you can still apply with a penalty:

  • May 9 to May 15: ₹3,000/- late fee.

 

  • May 16 to Sept 23: ₹25,000/- late fee.

 

📝 Selection Process

​The selection will be conducted in two main phases:

  1. Written Exam: An OMR-based objective test with negative marking.

 

  1. Interview: Successful candidates will be called for a 100-mark interview based on a 3:1 ratio of vacancies.

    📍 Important Instructions

    • Work Location: Selected candidates will serve as Class-II Gazetted officers at District or Tehsil levels in MP.

     

    • Employment Registration: MP residents must provide a live Employment Exchange (Rojgar Panjiyan) certificate by the time of the interview.

     

    • Provisional Result: Following government policy, the result will be released in two parts: 87% (Main) and 13% (Provisional).
