Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) has released Advertisement No. 16/2025 dated 30 December 2025 for the recruitment of Assistant Professor (Law) under the Department of Higher Education, Government of Madhya Pradesh.

Exam Date: 12 July 2026

Admit Card Availability: 02 July 2026

Application Start Date: 27 February 2026

Application Last Date: 26 March 2026 (till midnight)

Late Application with Fee:

27 March 2026 – 02 April 2026: ₹3000 late fee

03 April 2026 – 17 June 2026: ₹25,000 late fee

Error Correction Window:

02 March 2026 – 28 March 2026 (₹50 per correction)

For late applications, corrections allowed till 17 June 2026

Educational Qualification:

Master’s Degree in Law with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade).

Candidates must have cleared NET/SET/SLET conducted by UGC/CSIR or equivalent.

Ph.D. holders (as per UGC Regulations 2009 onwards) are exempted from NET/SET/SLET.

Relaxation of 5% marks at PG level for SC/ST/OBC (non‑creamy layer)/PwD categories.

Candidates who obtained PG degree before 19 September 1991 with Ph.D. are eligible with 50% marks.

Age Limit:

Age calculated as on 01 January 2026.

Category‑wise relaxations apply as per MPPSC rules.
